MIDDLE SCHOOL CURRICULUM
At the middle school level, FitMoney offers 19 real-world case studies that can be used in a variety of formats and classroom settings. Our goal is that much of the learning be generated from classroom discussion and for the cases to relate to life experiences faced by teens and young adults.

STEM CURRICULUM
The FitMoney team has created a design challenge that gives tomorrow’s STEM Middle School (6-8) leaders the opportunity to critically think about and create solutions to address the current issues students and the world face today.
Students envision a problem-solving product, build a business plan document and make the important calculations in a budget spreadsheet, which culminates in a Business Plan "competition" presentation. Through a socially conscious lens, students will draft a product design, and learn the critical elements to starting a successful business venture to produce, market, and sell the product.

Our Financially Fit Certificate, accredited in several states, includes 13 video activities, averaging 10 minutes each, with embedded check for understanding questions and a final certification assessment. Available in English and Spanish.

Time Required: About 10 minutes to complete each video and answer embedded questions, 8-10 total hours to complete (progress is saved, most students complete over 4-6 days)
