While some of the information collected is required for business engagement purposes, other information is voluntarily given by you. The type of personal information that FitMoney may collect could include, but is not limited to, the following:

  • Information you provide to us for the purposes of attending making donations, attending events or enrolling in a program; and

  • Any other information relating to you (or other individuals) which you may provide to us.

If you are providing personal information to FitMoney relating to a third party, you confirm that you have the consent of the third party to share such personal information with FitMoney and that you have made the information in this Privacy Policy available to the third party.

 

Do you collect the Information of Children under the Age of 13?

As an educational resource geared to students, FitMoney’s programs and services are directed at children. FitMoney ensures appropriate parental or guardian consent when required based on the use either directly or through the schools with which we work. FitMoney collects a child’s information when they enroll in the program and take the assessment.

 

Sensitive Categories of Information

Some jurisdictions consider certain personal information particularly sensitive. FitMoney collects this data for statistical and reporting purposes only. This information may be required in order to properly administer and support the educational program independently and within schools.

FitMoney only shares this information with grantors when required as a term of the grant. Such information may include the following:

  • Student Grade Level

  • School a Student Attends

  • Student Name and Email

Website Usage Information

FitMoney collects information when you provide it to FitMoney, such as when you use the “contact us” feature on the FitMoney Website, register for access to services or otherwise communicate with FitMoney (such as by email or via FitMoney social media pages).

 

How Does FitMoney Obtain Your Personal Information?

As noted above, we collect information from you in the course of your use of the FitMoney Website. For example, FitMoney collects information from you when you contact or communicate with FitMoney (including through the FitMoney Website, by email or otherwise) or when you register for access to services through FitMoney’s website. 

 

FitMoney also gathers information about you when you provide it to us or interact with us directly.

With Whom Does FitMoney Share Your Personal Information?

FitMoney does not share this information with third parties for business purposes.  FitMoney does not sell or rent personal information to third parties, nor does it share personal information for marketing or advertising purposes, including behavioral or contextual advertising.  FitMoney does not permit or utilize third parties to collect information or trade information to utilize profile’s created using personal information to engage in data enhancement or advertising.

 

Under the limited circumstances outlined herein, FitMoney reserves the right to disclose and/or transfer personal information to a third party, if FitMoney has reason to believe that disclosing personal information is necessary to identify, contact or bring legal action against someone who may be causing injury to or interference with (either intentionally or unintentionally) FitMoney rights or property, other FitMoney Website users or anyone else who could be harmed by such activities. Additionally, FitMoney may disclose personal information in response to a subpoena, warrant or other court order, or when FitMoney believes in good faith that a law, regulation, subpoena, warrant or other court order requires it.

FitMoney may share your information, including details about your engagement with a product (course completion percentage, level of participation, etc.) with your school or other educational organization with which you are associated.

 

FitMoney may share personal information with third parties engaged to assist FitMoney in providing services to you or to carry out one or more of the purposes described above. These service providers are prohibited from using your personal information for any purpose other than to provide this assistance and are contractually required to protect personal information disclosed by FitMoney and to comply with the general privacy principles described in this Privacy Policy.

 

If you choose not to provide FitMoney with your personal information, you may still visit the FitMoney Website. However, you may be unable to access certain website options, such as use the FitMoney Website functionality to its fullest extent.

 

Your Rights, Including Removing, Correcting or Updating Personal Information

If you change your mind on how FitMoney discloses or uses your information, or wish to access, correct or update personal information (such as your email address), it will endeavor to correct, update or remove the personal data you give us.

  • The right to ask FitMoney, in certain circumstances, to delete information we hold about you or your child; 

  • The right to ask FitMoney, in certain circumstances, to restrict processing of you or your child’s information.

How Long Will FitMoney Keep Your Personal Information?

FitMoney keeps your personal information for the period of time that you are a user of the FitMoney Website and for twelve (12) years after you discontinue use of the FitMoney Website.

The FitMoney Website may contain links to other websites not controlled or legally affiliated with FitMoney. These sites are not controlled by FitMoney and FitMoney is not responsible for any content contained on any such website. FitMoney is not responsible for the privacy practices employed by other sites, and the privacy practices employed by such sites may not be the same as FitMoney’s privacy practices. FitMoney may terminate access for any party who is found to repeatedly provide or post protected material without necessary rights and permissions.

Changes to The FitMoney Privacy Policy

FitMoney may revise this Privacy Policy, for example, to reflect changes in the law, our practices our Services or Features.  FitMoney will notify you before making any material changes and give you the opportunity to review the revised policy before you choose to continue using FitMoney services.
