Cynthia Fisher
Founder and Chair Emeritus

Fisher is Founder and Chairman of PatientRightsAdvocate.org and Co-Founder and Chairman of PowertothePatients.org. She has worked to deliver price transparency to consumers, resulting in an Executive Order and subsequent rulemaking requiring upfront prices in healthcare. Fisher also serves on the public company boards of the Boston Beer Company and Easterly Government Properties, Inc. She holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS and honorary Doctorate of Science from Ursinus College.

Kathleen Choi
Board Chair

Choi is the Managing Editor of The District Management Journal focused on public school management issues. She holds a M.P.P. from Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government and an A.B. from Harvard College.

Lisa Matthews
Treasurer

Lisa is a retired Wealth Advisor.  For over 35 years, when she founded her 1st financial advisory firm in New York City, Lisa has been a connector and leader in the community. Throughout her career Lisa believed in building the community you work in and lived up to this through her Board work on over a dozen Boards in the Boston community. Some of these Boards include the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce, the Women's Leadership Board at Harvard's Kennedy School of Government, The Home for Little Wanderers, The Ellie Fund,and many more. Lisa has spoken at conferences, universities, companies, etc., about financial education, financial literacy, and other topics to help educate the public and provide tools to take action with their finances. Lisa earned a bachelor’s degree in Russian and Soviet Area studies from Dickinson College.

Matt Conroy
Clerk

Matt Conroy is the Director of Corporate Initiatives at Income Research + Management. In his time at IR+M, Matt has managed several teams across the firm, with a focus on staff development and building teams to scale with growth.  He sits on IRM’s New Business Committee and is currently active in supporting the firm’s Product and Business Development efforts.  Prior to joining IR+M, Matt held various roles at State Street Global Markets, including Head of Global Link Australia and New Zealand.  Matt also sits on the Investment Committee of the American Campers Association and previously held board positions with the Evergreen Day School in Cambridge, MA,  Belmont Youth Lacrosse, Invest in Girls, and The Council for Economic Education.  He is a CFA Charterholder and a graduate of Providence College, where he is the Vice-Chair of the Business Advisory Council for the Providence College School of Business.

Katherine Billings

Katherine Billings serves as Chief Financial Officer of TIFF Investment Management. Ms. Billings has over 20 years in the asset management industry.  She was previously with PricewaterhouseCoopers for almost fifteen years supporting the Asset and Wealth Management Audit and National Office practices. Currently, Katherine oversees all accounting, financial reporting, valuation and tax compliance functions for the SEC registered advisor and all TIFF funds (SEC registered mutual funds, private equity funds, and hedge funds). Ms. Billings is graduate of Villanova University, and is a Certified Public Accountant registered with the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA).  She also serves on the boards of multiple non-profit organizations.

Anudha Gupta

Anudha is Vice President of Investment Platform Technology at Wellington Management.  She has been at Wellington for more than 20 years in various senior investment technology roles. She has been very active with Diversity & Inclusion efforts at Wellington especially focusing on Women advocacy and mentoring, and also in promoting Financial Literacy among youth and underrepresented communities. She earned her B. Tech in Computer Science, from the National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra, India.

Ben Schumacher

Ben is a Senior Manager of Digital Marketing for Foot Locker Inc. and has held various marketing roles there for over 9 years.  Ben has his degree with concentration in Marketing Communications, Entrepreneurship and Digital Studies from University of Wisconsin, Madison.

Erica Carere

Erica Carere is the Nuclear Security Program Officer at the Stanton Foundation, established by Dr. Frank Stanton to support areas where he was unable to fulfill his charitable goals during his lifetime. In this role, she awards grants to researchers and institutions engaged in policy-relevant security nuclear work—broadly defined to include nuclear war, terrorism, proliferation, weapons, force posture, and energy as it relates to nuclear security. Previously, Erica worked as an economic consultant in London, UK, and Boston, MA, focusing on electricity and gas deregulation. She holds an M.S. from MIT’s Technology and Policy Program and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Yale University.

Sachin Shah

Sachin Shah builds and scales companies at the intersection of wealth management, asset management, and growth-focused technology. He has co-founded and helped grow multiple businesses, with two successful exits to leading global investment banks, generating over $350M in market value including Carlin Financial Group – an institutional fintech with pioneering trading algorithms, acquired by RBC Capital Markets and 55ip – a wealth-tech platform focused on automated tax management, acquired by J.P. Morgan Asset Management. As a founding partner at 55ip, Sachin helped drive the firm’s growth from inception to $70B in assets across model portfolios and SMAs. His contributions spanned strategic planning, distribution, marketing, product design, investments, and operations. Earlier, Sachin served as the Operating Partner at Ada Investments, a quant-based hedge fund acquired by 55ip, and as Founding Principal/CIO of the RBC Emerging Manager Fund Allocation Platform. He began his career in investment research at U.S. Trust, RBC, and Bank of America, focusing on equities, special situations, and arbitrage.

Stephanie Madden
Deputy Director

Madden has previously served as the Head of Operations and Technology Innovation for a variety of companies and industries. She is a champion of holistic improvements and focuses on strategies that align people, technology, operations and finance. Steadfast in her belief that organizational collaboration and operational excellence go hand in hand, she makes every effort to engage all team members in developing impactful solutions that keep the mission progressing and innovating.

Jessica Chung
Programs Director

Chung is a veteran secondary teacher, experienced professional developer and educational technology enthusiast. She believes financial literacy is a critical equity issue, and has worked to build FitMoney's curriculum and implement financial literacy in schools since 2017.

Lauren Langlois
Academic Director

Langlois is passionate about education as an equalizer and found financial literacy lacking from core math curriculum during her 11 years of teaching and coaching. Lauren taught and created data-driven math curricula, led professional development and coached math teachers. She is excited to see FitMoney's curriculum live and grow through student, teacher and family engagement.  

Jacob Wittenberg
External Relations Director

Wittenberg is a Boston University graduate with a degree in Public Relations. With FitMoney, he works to establish the digital brand and create connections via digital platforms. He personally resonates with FitMoney’s mission and the importance for the next generations to be financially fit and educated.

Stephanie Lloyd
Manager, Data and Research

Lloyd is a seasoned consultant, program evaluator, and photovoice trainer who has spent nearly two decades working alongside countless mission-driven organizations with a focus on collecting reliable data, uplifting voices, creative solutions, and data-based learning. As an AmeriCorps alum with an MA in Applied Sociology, she is also deeply committed to social justice and empowering youth to create positive social change. She is excited to support the FitMoney Team in all things collecting, analyzing, and using data for good. 

Ariel Infante
Systems Architect and Engineer

As a Systems Engineer, Infante enjoys working on the challenges of data flow and system integration. He has experience building data pipelines and using APIs to help different software tools communicate effectively. His path in technology began with front-end development and operations support, which gave him a valuable appreciation for both the end-user's experience and the importance of reliable infrastructure. He aims to use this well-rounded perspective to contribute to building clean, scalable, and supportive technology for the team.
