Did you know that financial literacy in the U.S. is at a critical low, affecting individuals and families across all demographics? The National Financial Educators Council (NFEC) reports that a lack of financial literacy cost Americans a total of more than $388 billion in 2023 alone.

FitMoney provides a variety of free, accessible financial literacy programs to meet students, educators and caregivers where they are. We empower teachers with a best-in-class financial literacy curriculum, parents and caregivers with our innovative digital platforms and at-home activities, and partner organizations with tools and resources.

FOR HOWEVER YOU LEARN

FitMoney provides free, unbiased financial literacy programs.

FitMoney is committed to meeting with educators and advocates to ensure successful implementation and impact of our curriculum.

CHARLOTTE, NC

To further our mission of accessibility, FitMoney created a customized curriculum map for Movement Schools to implement Financial Fridays programming for K-5 students, including Professional Development for their educators.

Our impact is strongest when working directly with our classrooms on how their students learn best.

This FitMoney curriculum is the one that the scholars talk the most about at home. At parent teacher conferences the parents always mention how excited their kids are to learn about money and that it shows up like when they are out shopping with their family.

FitMoney is continuously improving our products to deliver what educators need most. This year we launched new features on the Certificate platform, including the ability to assign programs, recommend specific modules to students based on assessment, and organize classroom data.

For the $uperSquad, we also integrated with Clever, a single sign-on service making student registration seamless for educators.

As a teacher, I’ve seen firsthand how these skills can make a real difference—whether it’s learning how to budget, save, or avoid debt. These are things that really help set students up for success.

Every April for Financially Literacy Month, FitMoney challenges everyone to begin (or continue!) their own financially fit journey. With the Fit in 5!

With more than 30 states mandating personal finance prior to graduation, we're planning to further help educators and reach students as they prepare for personal goals beyond the classroom.

I personally feel like [the Certificate course] has all the important topics needed to understand personal finance.
